Donna I am really sorry to hear this.  I am having problems dealing with things medically and I hate that he has to deal with it too.   You are a good mother and have been there so you will know when the time comes what will be best for him.   Please tell him that I feel if is stronger about thing than I am.  And give him a hug to let him know the we are all thinking of him.  UM MOM Susan

Hi… Just thought I’d post an update on Kevin……some of you know how ill he has been since last week…..when he perforated his eardrum three there……appears to be some viable bacteria still causing trouble (he is taking antibiotics for resistant bacteria already!)…..and from the sounds of things, it’s possible that he may even end up in surgery on Friday…… He is still at school, managing OK despite being half deaf…..his hearing has improved a bit since last week……and the ENT said it will take quite a while yet for it to come back…… He’s a real toughy when it comes to pain……evident with all his bowel problems……and this ear of his.
