Vitamin E test/injection

Question:

I was taking Vitamin E in a liquid form orally and I felt alot healthier. I have colitis. My sister has crohns. She said vitamin B shots helps her alot. Recently I asked my doctor about testing for vitamin E absorption issues and drew a blank. Only after 10-20 years of malabsorption do neurologic symptoms become clinically apparent. Vitamin E can be injected in a water soluble form. I’m wondering why it doesn’t seem to be an issue with IBD?? John

Not much is ever mentioned about nutrition being a factor with this disease yet…even though science has shown free radical damage to be a part of IBD.
