Actually I found out how to access it.  I go through my Netscape program.  It takes forever, and my first time I only got 2 messages, but I did get there.  I went into Window, Netscape News, Options, Show all Newsgoups, Alt, Alt support, alt support ostomy.  There are the steps I take.  See why it takes so long?  Hope that helps you too. Penny P.S.  My husband is from Ontario Canada.

Response:

I had this problem also.  They seem to have changed the way they’re doing it.  I first got a message that they are kept somewhere else and since I tried to get the messages they will be downloaded to my server.  It took about a day and then they were there.  It hasn’t been removed.  It also said to mark that message unread. Hope you get through! What news servers are you using?  I use dejanews and have had no problems finding alt.support.ostomy.  Mary

Response:

It exists on my news server also. However, not all groups are carried by an Internet Service Provider (ISP). If the desired groups are not available you can contact your ISP and ask them to provide them. Many times they will. I don’t have the original post so I responded to this one. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> — > in the province of  Ontario, CANADA > > I am unable to reach alt.support.ostomy.  Has anyone else had this > > problem?  If you have found a secret to get into it, that I haven’t > > been able to find, please let me know.  I really would like to check it > > out.  Thanks in advance. > > Penny > I’m in same boat Penny.  I have to assume that it has been removed. > Joe > Not true.
